Who We Are?
Brow Beauté is a boutique studio specializing in semi-permanent cosmetic tattoos such as nano brows. We are based in Toronto, Canada. We strive to create the perfect pair of eyebrows for each client with exceptional customer service. Each of the artist at Brow Beauté has an exceptional eye for detail and their own artistic approach to their craft.
What is Nano Brows?
Nano brows is a form of a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that mimics hairstrokes to create hyper-realistic eyebrows. To create the nano strokes, a handheld machine is used to create these strokes vs. microblading, a manual handheld tool to create strokes. By using a machine, it allows us to create defined strokes or light and wispy strokes. Combining different types of strokes together can really make the eyebrows look really natural and hyper-realistic.
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow procedure that uses a fine blade to place semi-permanent pigment into the surface of the skin. The effect very closely mimics the look and detail of actual brow hairs, creating a bolder, natural-looking brow. This procedure does not require a tattoo gun. Unfortunately, we do not offer this service anymore. We have upgraded our skills and offer Nano Brows to create hair-strokes for a more improved healed result.
What is Ombré Brows?
Ombré brows is also a semi-permanent eyebrow procedure where it uses a needle that places semi-permanent pigment in the upper layer of skin in a stippling technique. The overall look of the eyebrows once it has healed is more of a filled-in make-up look compared to the hair-like look of microblading. Some clients prefer this type of look or if someone has an oily skin complexion, this procedure might be more ideal for better healed results.
What is Combination Brows?
This is the best of both worlds - combining nano brows and ombré shading together. Usually nano strokes are completed at the front of the brows to keep it looking more hair-like and fluffy and ombré shading is completed in the middle of the brows to the tails to keep the shape looking defined and more filled-in. Usually if your skin-type is more oily, this method is great for retention and longevity. To find the plaza, you can also put in Google/Apple Maps: "Shops on Yonge".
There is FREE PARKING in the underground plaza. Please park near the GREEN PILLARS. That is the closest to the building 7163. Our unit is on the main floor on the left hand side of the elevator.
Coming By Bus/Uber/Walking:
Look for building 7163 Yonge Street. The building faces Yonge Street so you can come through the main entrance of the building and we are unit 112 OR you can come into the building if you get dropped off in the plaza. Look for the building number "7163" in RED and enter the building through those doors.
How long does it last?
Your brows will last between 1-3 years. We recommend that our clients come in for an 1-2 year touch-up to keep the brow colour looking fresh and to ensure the strokes are defined.
Am I an ideal candidate for this procedure?
Semi-permanent cosmetic tattoos are a safe and reliable procedure and suitable for most people. However, if you have any of the following conditions, please consult with your doctor before attempting this procedure and bring a doctor's note with you to your appointment. If you have any of the following conditions and do not have a legitimate doctor's note with approval, we cannot perform this procedure for you. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pregnant and/or breast-feeding
Diabetic
On blood thinning medication
Have had injections/fillers in the brow area within the last 2 months

How long does the procedure take?
The initial procedure takes approximately 2.5 - 3 hours. The appointment includes brow shaping, customized colour matching and the technique you chose. The first half of the appointment is the consultative component of the procedure and the second half is the completing the technique itself.
Does the procedure hurt?
A topical anesthetic is used to numb the brow area prior to the procedure. You can expect some minor level of discomfort during the procedure similar to threading or tweezing.
What is the healing process like?
Within a few days, the lines that we've placed throughout your brows will begin to scab. This is completely natural but it could look a little patchy at first. To relieve the brows of itchiness or dryness, you may use the healing ointment we give you.
Once the scab falls off naturally, the lines will begin to appear darker and your brows will take a fuller, more natural look within a few weeks.
Does everyone's skin heal similarly?
Everyone's skin is different and therefore may heal differently from this procedure. Depending on your skin type and how well your body heals from small scabs, some areas might retain pigment better than other areas.
We will do our best to ensure pigment is placed well within the skin to achieve exceptional results. A small percentage of clients might need two touch-ups instead of one. Please be patient and know that we are committed to getting you the results you want.
